At Kailash Hospital & Neuro Institute, our advanced Laboratory Services department is dedicated to providing the highest level of support not only to our medical staff but to our patients as well.

At the Department of Laboratory Medicine, we have a team of dedicated laboratory professionals who work tirelessly to provide accurate results with the quickest turnaround time possible.

We at the Department of Laboratory Medicine offer the entire gamut of routine tests in Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Clinical Pathology, Microbiology, Serology, and Cytology in our fully automated, bi-directionally interfaced laboratory with more than 100 routine tests. With the support of our satellite labs in the hospital and the facility of home collection, we follow a zero error policy with stringent quality control.

Under the guidance of Dr. Ritu Vohra, Group Medical Director, who has expertise in Total Quality Management and thus helps in the early identification and resolution of problems, the lab operates all the Kailash group facilities. There are three pathologists and one microbiologist on board, and the service hours are from 8 AM to 9 PM.

  • After 9:30 pm – Emergency Ground Floor

We analyze biological fluids like blood, serum, plasma, spinal fluid, and urine for key chemical markers and physiologic indicators to aid medical decisions.

Our modern lab handles routine cultures, sensitivity tests, serological assays, and immunology for infectious diseases. We also monitor hospital-acquired infections through air, water, equipment, and staff hygiene protocols, offering consultations to clinical teams and support staff.

Cytology Department – Specializing in FNAC reports (including guided procedures), body fluid malignancy detection, and conventional Pap smears.

Barcoding, real-time networking, and bidirectional interfaces minimize manual steps, cutting errors and wait times. Patients can access reports online.

  • Third-party quality control assays and random checks are carried out to see that the instruments and people are performing accurately.

The lab has been NABL accredited since 2024 and conforms to all the national and international guidelines as per the standard ISO-15189 and good laboratory practice. All test parameters besides being accredited by NABL & NABH are under real time quality check by External Quality Assurance Schemes & Inter Lab Comparison.
