  • Oral thrush (fungal infection): Candida yeast overgrowth in the mouth, resulting in white patches on the tongue, inner cheeks, or throat, treated with antifungal medications and good oral hygiene practices.
  • Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders: Dysfunction or pain in the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, often causing jaw clicking, popping, or difficulty opening and closing the mouth, managed with lifestyle changes, physical therapy, oral appliances, or surgery in severe cases.
