Dr. M.D Sharma , MD, DM Senior Consultant Nephrologist with long experiance of heading and establishing Nephrology Department at different superspeciality Hospital of Rajkot & Ahmedabad ( BT Savani Kidney Institute Rajkot, Gujrat Research Medical Institute , Rajasthan Hospitals, Dr. Jiv Raj Mehta  &  Sterling Hospital Ahmedabad) joined us as HOD - Nephrology in 2009.

This Department caters to the Kidney related problems including dialysis and renal transplant follow-ups. The department is a well equipped Hemodialysis Unit with 12 latest state of art machines & for acute Haemodialysis backed by NABH accridition, state of art  five ICU units,  facility for RRT & SLED. Water for dialysis is provided by Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. A facility for bicarbonate dialysis is available in three shifts with arrangement to provide emergency dialysis round the clock and a separate dedicated machines for critically ill patients is available in ICUs for bedside dialysis.

The Department has also facilities for initiating patients for Continuous Ambulatory Pentoneal Dialysis (CAPD).
